I recently had my 3.5 MSP tuned on a mustang dyno. I had some interesting results which led me to the following questions. Any help would be appreciated. My MSP has the following mods: FMIC, Vibrant j-pipe back exhaust, SRI, SAFC v.1, Stock boost @ 7psi, Boostscience BPV.
1) When I first start the car, the vacuum is @ 16 psi, but shortly rises to 20 -21 psi in about 15 secs. Is this normal or indicative of some other problem?
2) The dyno showed 150 rwhp and 148 ft/lbs of torque after a third gear pull. This seems low, even for a Mustang dyno. The fuel was still rich at around 11.5 /11.0 in some spots. I am returning for another tuning session to get better AF ratios.
3) I do have a very small exhaust leak between the downpipe and exhaust connection. Does this affect my performance or tuning ability? The tuning
O2 bung is located after the downpipe but before the cat on the vibrant exhaust.
4) I am contemplating raising the boost to 9 - 10 psi. Should I have any concerns given the mods that I have?
