Question

Rain X is the shiz. When I first put it on and it rained a couple days afterwards I was all in awe. I didn't use my wipers once on a 35 min drive thru a heavy rain. :D

Is it raining someplace?? I'm a little protected here in SoCal I guess...

I use factory blades, and Rain-X on the windshield. Seems to work fine, but my dad has always told me that wax on the windshield is the best. But Rain-X hasn't done me wrong yet.

I have a '54 GMC pick-up with vacuum controlled wipers. When you step on the gas, the wipers stop, and I mean stop dead, if you were on the freeway, they could stop for 30 seconds or more at a time. With Rain-X I didn't even need wipers, the wind just blew the rain off...

true that. we in socal are pretty spoiled, weather-wise... but the piaa carbonfiber (look) wipers would look HOT on my ride cuz i have so much carbonfiber on the front end (hood, eyelids, grill)

wow, the response to my wiper question has been great. this defenitely helps me a lot because watchin the blades skip across is by far one of the MOST annoying things i have experienced. The one good thing about the BOSCH wipers is that even though they skip here and there, they dont make any annoying noises like other wipers do when they skip. But it still annoying (pissed). Thanks for all the suggestions.

sorry i did not reply last week. i left for vacation and JUST got back. i will update this forum sometime in the next day or two with my results after i unpack. laters
