I drive a caution cone
How is the factory tokicos handling the lowering spring??? i'm thinking of some sportlines.

thanks

I have the exact setup(tokiko/sportlines) and I think it's great. Better stiffness than stock plus lower center of gravity= better handling.

I just ordered the Tein's from Apex, I'll post when I get them. I think the lower center of gravity may cause the shocks to go a little early but nothing severe. I have a friend with Eibach Sportlines on his Lancer OZ and its been like 20k miles and nothing too bouncy yet, plus our Tokicos are a lot better and tuned more aggressively than stock Lancer springs.

I'll let you know very soon. :D

I'm grotesquely lowered and mine are doing fine. I run low profile 16" for racing and I'm about 2.5" lowered... I think the shocks are doing great. Haven't hit a bumpstop yet (of course they are cut).

How much were the S-tech. Dealers being a b**** about lowering the car...although its already lowered. Gave us BS about voiding our electrical warrenty...but I want some Teins

I've been considering lowering aswell, since I've hear that the car can handle it exceptionally well. I'll either be getting the Eibachs or the Teins, am still thinking as to which I want to get. Could some of you guys post some pics of your lowering aswell. That would be greatly appreciated, thanks, and sorry for the thread jack.

i have had a set of skunk2 coil overs on my p5 for over a year. i have et to have a problem with the stock struts . i have just swithed to a set of tiens and they feel very good too. i can tell my struts are getting looser but they held up to a years worth of abuse and your msp struts are much better then the p5 ones
