Question: How do you view the software version of the audio system?

Please forgive me for being a newbie. I have a 2015 CX-5 GT w/Tech package. I want to know how to view what version of software my car has. From what i am understanding there is a version for the Radio (Infotainment system) and the tom-tom. Where can i find the software version of both and what are the current versions?

I don't remember the exact keystrokes but this should give you enough info to find it. Go into Settings, Maintenance (I believe) and then Music database. Just keep drilling down and you will find the screen. It will list firmware. It will be something like 55.000.753. 753 is the latest a/o Oct 2015.

If that doesn't help keep drilling down in the Settings menus, you'll eventually find it.

I don't think the 2015 radios have those pages. certainly no "maintenance" page.

For TomTom select Settings, Status and Information then select Version Information.

Hold power and seek with Radio On

After display enters diag mode, enter code 38

Turn radio off to get out of mode

Does your GT have tech package?

Yes, It does, MY2015. Auto braking and all.

Hold Seek Up or Seek Down? On the radio or steering wheel? Left knob for Power? How long? More then 60 sec?

Same thing for code 92 to activate the rear camera?
