question for the "wheel gods"

i got some rota subzeros on they way and i was recently told they wont fit on the back without boring them out. what the hell is this exactly and how do i do it/who do i take it to to have it done?

take it to a machine shop they should be able to do it

i heard equinox did it himself with a dremel....how much do i tell a machine shop to take off? depending on how equinox's turned out i may try to do it myself

doing it with a dremel is risky. the wheel may not sit right afterwards and could cause vibration. i had to have my fronts machined and i was charged 25 a wheel.

holy cow! $25 for a machine shop to bore the wheels? i got quoted $75 per wheel!!! damn tucson. i need to call around more then.

what made you decide to get rid of the white wheels?

It's not so much bored out as made deeper. The bearing seat on the hub sticks out too far. I got mine from Rishie and they were already done. It's got to be done or else the mounting surface of the wheel won't sit flush on the hub.
