Question for guys with tinted windows?

Just wondering if you guys could give me a ruff estimate of what it cost to get em tinted on your mp3. I know it will vary, but i was just wonderin. Also did you take the window molding off? If so how in the wolrd do you get it off. Thanks

I found a place to do mine for $230. That sounds expensive but it is partial-metallic tint w/ an unconditional lifetime warranty (which has paid off already due to carless packing of pa speakers). Worth every penny.

i paid 170 for mine. it's llumar metalicized film. 35%. it's arizona though, so you get better deals.

paid 200 for mine and its 35% and its kinda mirrored at certain angles especially when the sun is shining right on the window...gives it a nice effect i think

$165...Any tint, and they had 2 different types, "Charcoal" and "Platinum plus" they called it.

When I did mine, I just used a Gasket Wizard and left the molding on the windows. I made a precut pattern for the film using butcher paper.

If you are attempting to tint you windows yourself, I don't recommend it unless you are experienced. Also, www.tintdude.com is an excellent resource.
