Question about this cobb intake

you can buy 1 of 2 things. the actual intake, then a "filter recharge kit". Wtf is a filter rehcarge kit? I use to have a honda before this ms3 and the intake i had on it just had a filter on the end and i never had to do anything for it. At least i dont think lol. What does this mean?

its a cleaning and oil solution to use when you clean the filter. I have it, works great.

Filters get dirty over time. The recharge kit lets you clean/re-oil the filter. Even your Honda's filter got dirty.

So do you only have to buy the kit once, and you just use it every time to clean it? And how often do u need to clean it
