hey guys i haven't done it yet but i been thinking bout it. When you move the maf to the cold pipe do you live the other sensors in the same place, and is only the maf that gets move right?

the MAF should be fine, but you're going to need some more clamps on those connections

I'd personally say you want 8+ inches of space between your BOV and the MAF. Personally, with that setup, I would have placed the MAF on the straight piece of pipe closer to the throttle body and then put the BOV where the MAF is now. You might want to consider putting the BOV on the hotside now...

would the bov work anywhere on the hot side? and yeah im not done, im putting like 4 or 5 clamps on that maf lol

MAF is good to go where it is and yes you can put the bov anywhere on the hot side. I think thats where it would be ideal to be placed and i would have done it that way had my setup allowed the space.

so you guys dont recomend me putting bov on the elbow of the pipe?
and if i put bov on hot pipe there should be no stalling or any problems right?
sorry for all questions i just need to be 100% sure

definitely not... if you read thru some of the threads here there is a distance that some recommend the bov be away from the MAF to keep from having stalling issues. Well your putting in way on the other side so there wouldnt be any hint of it to the maf.

Mine is actually that close to the Turbo as well. But I've been getting resurge a bit with the SSQV. I think I need to adjust the bolt some tho. Maf is in great location. same as mine. I see you also had to do away with the AC fan.
I did to. I plan on clocking my turbo next spring to get the fan back in. You should have a good set-up there. My car pulls much harder now with the Relocated MAF for some reason. I drove with it on the intake and a BOV for about 2 weeks and it sucked

i don't think it's a good idea to have those breather cones on your block...your car will run smoother with out them..

does anyone know the affects of moving the maf cause i was reading that its not the best idea?? i wanna do that to mine to stop the stalling also but i dont wanna f up my motor???

This is a heavily debated topic. I would say only relocate the MAF if you plan on running a VTA BOV only. My MAF has been relocated for over 1.5 years now with a regular BPV (how my FMIC kit was setup) and I've had no problems. I don't have any experience with a non-relocated car though. Some people swear it improved the way the car drove, others said it made it worse. It's really only want you want to do. I believe BOVs are more efficient at releasing pressure than BPVs and that's why I'll be running one. My opinion, however.

As long as you have your recirc dump back into your system after the maf so you arent' registering the air twice you should be ok.

so your saying if i put the maf after the atmospheric bov and before the throttle body i will be ok?? this s*** is confusing sorry but i cant stand the stalling with the bov

You MAF has to go between the BOV and the TB. I ran my MAF and BOV next to eachother and I never had any problems with it. Just watch out if you ever decide to crank up the boost. The MAF can only take so much before you risk bending or breaking the sensor.
