Question about folding CX-9 Mirrors

I recently got a 2020 CX-9 GT. Regarding the mirrors, I have a narrow (locked) garage, is there a way to fold the mirrors in when I go to open the lock?

My 2009 Murano, I would just take the mirror and turn it in before moving it in. Can these mirrors be manually turned -- I don't want to damage the
inner working. Thanks.

If it were me, I would just use the control switch on the door panel to fold the mirrors in, as described in the owner's manual here.

With that said, the manual only states that you should not fold the mirrors out manually (by hand). There is no caution/warning regarding folding them in manually.

I figured it out, the knob-control switch is a little clunky, I got it working.
