question about dynoing your car with and without cooling your intercooler?

I couldnt help but wonder how this one dude was laying down 310whp and 370wtq with less mods than i haveBTW i hit 270whp and 310wtq on the same type of dyno. but i did do some research and found out that he was using ice or somthing along that nature to cool down his intercooler before the dyno pulls. where as i did not have any air at all going threw my intercooler while on the dyno. could it be that using ice ice or N2o on the intercooler before a dyno pull woul make all that extra power??? does anyone have experience with this issue??

My first pull on the dyno yielded 309whp with no ice. I just did it between runs to keep it cool. Would make a big difference for heatsoaking but doesnt make that big of a difference over a cool intercooler. My times in the quarter miles justify my whp. So Id say no. Ill be going back to the dyno this week to do some more testing. Ill make my first couple pulls without cooling it off again and tell you how it does, but last time the numbers were almost identical.

Ps. Freezing the intercooler with nitrous will yield a little more power. I have done that on numerous srts and gained any where from 5-10whp.

driver311 was also at 18psi and not 17 if i remember correctly. and he had a huge spike to like 21psi !
