Question about difference between two engine oils

I wasn't able to find any information in here.
Can someone explain or point me into the right direction.

What is the difference between these two type of oils.
What does IFG 3 means?

ILSAC GF-6 will be split into two subcategories: GF-6A and GF-6B. The principal difference between the two subcategories of oils concerns viscosity grade and high temperature, high shear (HTHS) performance. The proposed ILSAC GF-6B will provide the same performance as GF-6A, but with the added aim of lower HTHS to deliver potential further fuel economy benefits. ILSAC GF-6B will be defined for 0W-16 viscosity grade oils only.

The silver bottle is GF-6A, which seems to be the same as the GF-6 of the gold bottle. Seems like it's just newer packaging with the updated specification.

I believe it is new packaging too. I just checked their website and they only have the silver bottle.

Also, one spec is backward compatible, and the other is not, according to what I read on the website.

Looks like the 5 and 7 are only made in 0w-16. That means Toyota engines
