Hey everyone,
My girlfriend and I am planning the next few mods for her MP3 and so far she wants to go turbo. For my car(mirage/lancer) a company called RPW based in Australia makes quad and twin throttle body set ups. The Quad requires a piggy-back computer mod as well as fuel system upgrades (easy, just snag parts from a junked eclipse for me). The Quads run about $1,200 + fuel system mods. The twin, on the other hand doesn't require too much work to the fuel system or computers, and it gives great results. Is anyone in the Mazda world toying with this idea.....I am thinking that for the price of a turbo for the MP3 you could get the twin t/b set up, headers and a few fuel/afc mods and still reach almost the same HP, plus there is no Lag and is easier on the engine for a Daily Driver... What do you think? Anyone think of this??
