Q bout haltech f10x

They are all 2 wire sensors, simply unplug them.

The a b c d designate the terminals. It is a four wire sensor. The a and b are below each other. You will have to wait till tommorow for colors of wires, but I think you should get it by the little diagram.

hey no sweat. so more than likely if i unplug the harness for the front o2, and look striaght at it with the clip on top it should be

AC
BD

thanks, ill give it a whirl. what do you think about corwins injector theory?

no disrespect to corwin, but i don't think thats it :)

sorry corwin, you know i love ya

ok someone convince me to buy the haltech. im sick of this s*** not working.

so to sum it up, no matter what, if im getting a CEL or the ECU is pulling fuel with my current setup, with the F10X it CANNOT pull fuel even if it wants to? correct? so it would fix my problem then?

if the injector wires to the ecu are cut, then the ecu is physically unable to pull fuel. but still....have you not figured out what is wrong with your car?

matt doing something like that is kinda like paint over something with out preping it. It might work but itll act like s***. If you dont know your current problem then theres no way to know if haltech could be the answer. If your senors are bad then it could just create more problems.

I bank on one of the sensors being bad since you prob grounded something out when you wired in the MPI.

no...im so lost as to what to do. everything seems to be in working order. i traced all the o2 wires, no luck. i had found some jacked up wires but im still running lean, even after only 20 miles or so on a reset...besides the clamp the only thing i could think of is injectors.

i dont have a CEL yet, but i guess we'll see if it comes on...(since i fixed the jacked up wires)

i was in the ECU today again looking for other possible problems, i couldnt find anything. i wish that someone would give me the idle readings off their clamp like i asked for in the other thread.

and on one last side note, can someone call Juan and tell me what that message says thats in spanish?

no more cel? Still going lean? Id say unwire the clamp and send it back to FM and theyll bench test it. You cant go into boost anyways so its not gonna matter if the clamp is there or not.

i replaced the sensor and i dont have a CEL. if you have a bad sensor youll get one of the low voltage codes or soemthing...im not getting anything but that one sensor. and i replaced it long after the MPI fiasco.

i agree that it is somewhat risky to do that, but if it works, i dont give a s***. i realyl dont. i rarely boost but it just gets under my skin to know that i really cant if i want to. if the Haltech will take complete control then it wont matter what problems i had.

the only other thing i can think of is that my AEM might be getting bad readings...because i dont hear knocking and my engine hasnt blown. im only on 91 octane and im at 6.5psi...so dunno there either.

im going to call keith tommorrow. it doesnt seem to work though even if you do that 4k rpm test.

and the f10x is even fewer wires than your e6x was Pat... couldn't be any simpler as long as you dont mind batch fire. but it still works fine.

Know that I ran 10 PSI to and from California on 91 octane.

mine runs in multi-point just fine. the option for batch is not selected.
