Putting in a Custom FMIC as we speak :)

Azian6er,

Are you running 2.5" pipes all around with your setup? If so, can you make any suggestions? If you look at pics 16-18 you can see where I run into problems.

Thanks.

take a look at where the IC pipes run on the ION kit. Sorry for the large pics.

Not to sure if theres a hole there already but if not they made on in a good spot it looks like.

A solution for the IC pipes clearing the AC lines would be to swap the fan, not sure if it's the rad fan or AC fan with a slim fan an mount it on teh front of the rad instead of behind.

Anyone who's done the ION FMIC install want to comment because I'm very interested in this too.

NU CHO ZA NAFIG DA! Kruto Kruto. Sorry just had to congratulate in Russian :D
Sweet. Finally people getting rid of wacky stock IC's. Good luck with that FMIC bro. Ill cya soon.

whatever you do make sure you do a pressure test..take off the intake side of turbo and block it off(must be airtight)then pump air into the intake track and see if you have any leaks..

That pipe in the spool install pic is rubbing right against the ac line. And that's with 2" pipes. That's where I had mine come up, but it wasn't clearing as much as I wanted it to. Thanks again. I'll see what we can come up with today.

Keep at it man. Like I told you before. It will eventually work out for you. Take your time. It's worth the wait.

ok, ill lend my word. I used 2.5 all the way for all my tubing, BUT i did something most wont do, in that i removed my re-bar Behind my bumper cover. I di not want to, but i figure that if i get in an accident at 65 mph on the freeway or higher its gonna be ugly anways.

SO, that having been said, I removed the stock ic and ran the turbo to IC pipe through the space where the stock ic was and along the top of the ic (where the stock RE-bar is and into the passengfer side of the IC. It is a lot of pipe, but it seems to fit nicely.

here are some pics:

Looking good guyz looking good! The bumper cover clears and the pipes are starting to take shape. Damn bro that's a little to extreme for my taste. But thanks for the pics.

Just finished testing out the system at 3:33 AM. Works very well, I can tell a difference at stock boost the engine is a lot smoother throughout the rpm range no more hesitation between 4-5 k rpm. The mistsu BOV sounds exactly like the greddy type S and is loud as hell. No leaks are found, except that the bad hoses I'm using right now keep popping off  I can hear a few bangs and rattle here and there, one of which I know exactly where. Will work on that very soon. I'll get more pics up very soon. Thanks to everybody for you support :)
