Exactly. I could give two s**** about the car. After seeing it today I realized just how lucky I was and why it is important to always wear a seatbelt. If I didn't have the belt on I would have probably been tossed through the open driver side window. Or atleast thrown hard into it causing some nice injuries. My friend ran me and his girlfriend into a tree HEADON in a mitsubishi 3000gt sl at about 50 mph. I'm still alive, and none of us were injured. The worst part was when the construction workers started yelling at my friend for being an idiot, as we were crawling out of his destroyed $7.5k sports car...
long story short: seatbelts safe lives, and construction workers can be unsympathetic
oh, and my $.02, keep the language off on the forums, even if it is meant in jest. ruins the experience for those of us who don't get it right away. thanks.
