Purchasing a CX-9

I would get The-9. Toyota can pound salt at a much higher price plus it has no looks compared to the sexy CX9

I did post this before and The MSRP is $35,825 in New York. and the Dealer quote me $29,450.00 Plus Taxes and Lic, I see $6,375.00 So $6M is just about right. Where are guys getting $8M? I'm buying the Car, not lease it.

Try loading it up more or get the GT model if you are not. Usually, the higher the MSRP price, the more room you have to bargain.

Richardd...
Remember there are always regional/local factors. I havent seen 8K off sticker, that gives me an indication of what the market is in my area. Although, I can see (and have) 7.7K off sticker easy without trying hard but youll be looking at 38-42K GTs.

It appears that most folks (around hear), perhaps due to heavy discounts, go for the GT. Supply/demand on the other hand, Im offered 7,645 off sticker for a Sport-AWD. I suspect this is unique because a 35,535 MSRP approaches, or is at, Touring prices. My wife and I agree on options but would rather not have leather, since the kids like to take the dog along.

Almost 8k or so under MSRP but settling for a poor interest rate.(uhm)

Still looking for proof of these amazing deals. I have dealt with Costco Auto Buyer program before and it was $250 above invoice. Now they are giving almost 8k under invoice(scratch)

Are you High or Am I?

3.99% for 60 months is a Great Rate. Mazda is Offering 2.9% for 60 months but you do not get the $4000 rebate if you use their financing. Run the Numbers!! Heck, I am only paying around $2700 in interest, if I take the loan to full term.

What do you consider a GOOD Rate? I know Chevy has 0% for 60 months but that kills your rebates, just like Mazda.

And... i am not out here to waste my time trying to trick you into thinking I got a deal that does not exist.

There are many factors that will effect the final price. I bet if I waited 2 months I would get an even better Price...

And I am sorry if you were unable to get as good as a deal as others. I already own my car and do not need to be posting in this thread. I am only posting to help out other consumers. So other consumers will know how much they can negotiate. That is what this forum is for!!

Maybe I should have posted more conservative numbers to make you happy! LOL

3.99 is a very good rate for a normal bank or credit union. That's what I got a couple months back and from what I'm hearing it's tough to get much better unless you use the manufacturer financing and then as you stated you don't get the rebates.

Well a buddy of mine just picked up a 09' AWD GT with nav/bose/sunroof/blis today for $34 + tax and tags from Rosenthal Mazda in Arlington, VA. Sticker was 41K. He got the Pentagon Fed. 3.99% rate on his new black on black CX-9.

i was going through mazda with 4.99% financing, but a 3 weeks after buying (prior to my first months payment), found a credit union that will give me 3.29% for 36mo...promptly switched to that. PenFed was offering the 3.99 as well...but i figure 3.29 is even better (despite the shorter term).

course, i'll probably regret it when i see my first bill in a week.

How Much Did You Pay?

cx-9

got a quote today for 29, 850 for an awd touring ed with sunroof/bose option. Dealer said they are getting scarce and the ext color is popular(black on black) Thought the quote was crazy. 6k off sticker.(35,750) It seems like in the ny(LI) area they are selling very well. I saw two in the lot with sold on the windows. I don't think they had one in stock and had to get one from anothet dealer(more money) Granted I haven't gone there to bargain yet. I think i'm going to find a dealer who has one in stock.

Hey, Wontonjon, what you won't regret, though, is being done with car payments a year (or whatever) earlier!

Hey then at least one should put up,, don't ya think?

Ask how many people own their vehicle (financing to own) but in reality, more then 70 percent (easily) are leasing. Seems people like to feel part of the group or in this case with pricing, feel like the center point and enjoy the adulations given when people see what they supposedly pay.

I will call out people who say they get crazy pricing when there are no means as to how until someone shows proof.

Sounds like someone is a bit butt sore that they paid too much(lol)(lol)

Update on CX9 deals:
in SF Bay Area
$4000 dealer engagement + $3400 dealer discount = $7400 off MSRP.
If you own a Mazda now, you get to claim the $1000 loyalty discount.
Therefore, either $7400 or $8400 off MSRP.
Saw this on newspaper today.
I am talking about cash buy (or loan from outside) here.
