protegegarage :X

i too am waiting on some awr inserts.. i recieved one side.. according to ken, they are on backorder, or not made yet

AWR has been trickling these out slowly for me. there is nothing i can do but push him to get them done. he was on winter break for two weeks and i am trying with him to keep him up to speed on my orders with him.

I ordered a set of msp pedals and he took forever to send them like 2 weeks then he emailed me saying that he got them from the mazdaspeed dealership and thats why it took so long cause he ran out. THEN next year(2010) the money was removed from my mom's checking's account(a Christmas gift) and STILL NO PEDAL SET RAGEEEE

the pedal set was discontinued and you were refunded. i had one source whom i tried to get this from and was never able to. i emailed your mother and apologized for that.

anyone who has any unresolved issues with me, email me. phone calls will always go to voice mail because i get a TON of them. i even take text messages and reply to those faster than i can a phone call, honestly.

There was a miscommunication between me and ken of PG. After reading threads and receiving individual pm's on this subject, I admit jumped the gun.
I generally pride myself on being a unbiased and rational person, but let my emotions get the best of me in this situation.
What can I say? I am just too much in love with my car.

I have talked to Ken today, and realize I in fact was impatient and may have caused unnecessary harm.

all I do at my FBI internship is deal with cyber crime. i have to listen to calls all the time about people sending money to african kings or making foreign lottery deposits.

i just got caught up i guess. I thought it had happened to me, but didn't.

Funny though, my supervisor previously said I may have gotten scammed. I felt like such a dumbass when he said that.

Sorry if I had added fuel to the fire.

parts came in on time

Hey, i sent a order in a couple weeks ago and today it came in . My hats off to Ken. I live in the great white north, so I always have to wait.

(friday)

well basically not anwsering emails for weeks and weeks is not how to run a business in my mind, and if you dont have things in stock and they have been discontinued then dont list them for sale on your website

I think you guys might be being a bit to harsh. Ken is trying to source hard to find parts, and you fault him for failing instead of credit him for trying. all I'm sayin is be fair..

Yea I think even if they take a little longer to get the product to you, they do have good customer service which is what keeps people coming back. Instead of knocking PG, I think we should be promoting them for their continued support of our dying platform (MSP).

As far as bad companies, I can say Velocity Factor is a bunch of douchebags. I ordered a GHL exhaust from them, heard nothing for a week or more so I called for an update and they told me they were making the downpipe. I said alright and continued to wait. One day it showed up...in a Vibrant box. Once I opened it up to confirm it was a Vibrant and that there was no S-pipe to make it a true Turbo Back, I called them up and they told me "the GHL is no longer in production so we gave you a comparable model". I informed them it was not a true turbo back, and also that it was listed a couple hundred less than the GHL. They agreed to give me the extra money back, but I still paid 50 bucks more for the Vibrant than I could have at PG. They would have kept my extra money if I didn't call them on it.

Sorry for the rant, but PG is a good company in my book.

i visit plenty of sites and just because and item might be out of stock i dont expect them to take it off the website. if there is any question. some advice would be to call or text before you place your order. talk to ken and make sure that the item is in stock and ready to ship or maybe even in hand if u need it very fast. this way if there will be a delay then your money isnt tied up somewhere while you wait.

+1.... i needed a stage 1 clutch ASAP, got on the phone with ken, and had it next day (2thumbs)

I ordered a wastegate 2 weeks ago, and while it took the payment out of my paypal account, the order was never "submitted". So I contacted him a week later for a tracking number and since it never went thru he sent it right away supposedly. I was promised to receive it yesterday, so I set up my appointment to drop the car off today to get it installed...guess what?
Still no wastegate :S

Hopefully arrives today, but I wont set up another appointment till I have it in my hands since Im the one that looks like an idiot when I have to cancel it saying I dont have the part yet.

I havent ordered parts in over a year, and protegegarage was my site of choice since I would get my parts shipped immediately, however, not the case this time.

which WGA? (I ask because contrary to popular believe Ken doesn't always have control over when his suppliers ship parts) and why have that done at a shop? its not to hard to do yourself. the install will prb cost you more than that part!

Mechanic is doing it for free since he just replaced my headgasket a few weeks ago and doesnt want me unbolting the manifold or anything, also he did it 2-3 years ago so he said he remembers it was a b**** to do, but would only take him an hour or so.

hey if someone wanted to do something for me for free and save me the time....im all for it.. i have a radio thats been sittin on my floor for almost 2 years now that i need installed and i just dont wanna do it

oh for sure... I'd take the freebie too. I just wonder how the shop thinks they'll get it done in an hour. lol

I'll put the radio in for ya.. for free. just drive your happy ass up here. (now put your motivation where your mouth is) lol

you're the one who didn't do the paypal process properly to begin with - but of course you fail to mention that here and its all my fault? guess what it says in bold faced font on the site TWICE when you checkout and is also stickied in my subforum here? if you bought the WGA from ATP which is where i get it from, guess what it says there about paypal orders? i rest my case. i have no sympathy when you can't read directions the first time.

also, fedex can't find the address you gave me, so i'll PM you the information so you can call them. its been sitting in Del Ray Beach since yesterday.

When purchasing anything online, you can never expect to have the item on a set date and time. That is why they always give you a window of say 2-4 business days. Keep in mind PG is not open 24/7 even if you can place an order 24/7. You have to take into account all the other factors that come into play, so you cannot place the blame solely on one person.

If I find anyone violating the following rule regarding PG or any other vendor... I will start handing out infractions:

9. Vendor and merchant disputes from customers must be handled privately. Negative reviews for vendors can only be posted after (a) direct communication to the vendor has failed, and (b) you have contacted a forum administrator or super moderator explaining the situation and have gained permission to post a negative review. Personal attacks towards a merchant or vendor authorized to do business on the forums is strictly prohibited. Mazda Forums has a zero tolerance policy towards unwarranted attacks on vendors and merchants (users with the title "Authorized Vendor" or "Authorized Merchant Member" under their username). They are the "lifeline" of the Mazda aftermarket. Making unwarranted attacks, or negative reviews without proper permission, against vendors or merchants can result in an immediate and permanent ban without warning.

yes i will admit i was very displeased with our last transaction, but in the end ken did come through with everything.i believe it could have been the fault of one of the people he outsources from.i was displeased with the comunication of the transaction but it could have been a phone number issue .as soon as i posted my gripe on here i was contacted by ken and the issue was resolved.im in the auto buisness and i understand things happen.and understand ken outsource's parts from other vendors and i myself have been to look like a ass on more then one occation because one of my vendors put me there.with that being said i plan on going forged,gt3071r,and a few other items and ken will be getting my buisness.futhermore i apologize to ken/pg and all of the msp comunity for saying bad things about a supporting vendor that has seemed to help the majority of the msp world just because of one bad experiance i had even if it was the only experiance i had with ken.hats off to ken for making the effort to help us all improve our cars
