are you seriously doing a triple turbo?

and what happened to your floor pan?
 
Keep up man! He drilled out the spot welds for the floor pan so that he can fab up the mid mounted powerplant.
 
ah that makes sense.

but really about the triple turbos.... thats just unnecessary. one turbo will give you everything youre looking for.
 
ive never done any research on pulse jet, no idea what that is.

and 3 turbos are counterproductive to this build. they add more weight. this thing is gonna weigh 2000 lbs, just toss a gtx2867 on there, let it spool fast, and scare the s*** out of yourself. the FS is not a motor to handle triple compound turbos

Haven't checked this thread in a long time and just noticed the while MR tri turbo setup. And I have several questions regarding this

What motor are you using

And why 3 turbos if this is a build for mpg? A small turbo will spool up over climbing a very slight incline (my vj11 would build 3-5 psi climbing slight hills at 70 mph which killed mpg) while Hondas making 500 whp with a gt35 still get 30-35 mpg because the turbo actually takes a decent load to spool up.

Of course at this point you could have easily gotten a crx hf with a dx trans and gotten 60-70 mpg with full interior and ac
 
If these questions are all academic, then cool. I'm all for it.

But if not, my only response to "Why" is, "Why not?" Dude's doing A, whatever he damn well pleases and what makes him happy; B, something new and advanced and difficult and challenging - and succeeding, it seems; and C, something frickin AWESOME.

Sure, we can debate the academics of using three turbos on an MR drivetrain hatch-mounted in a P5 chassis, but in the end, so what? It's a P5 with a mid-mounted three-turbo MR drivetrain - how cool is that?!?!?

Tamn - you keep on doin what you do man. It's entertaining to say the least - but it's also inspiring to see someone take the ideas that are "outside the box", smash said box, build new odd shaped thing to have ideas outside of, and succeed at it. Keep smashing away sir.

I'll PM you my question about the hatch and ideas I'm having.

Stupid question: What was your P5 at the last time you weighed it?

Low 2200's with driver and full tank of fuel. But that was quite a while ago.

Sometimes during the summer I see a strange phenomenon in the sky, I assume that's what your referring too as in sunshine?
