Protege03ak46's Build Thread

Got a few questions for you electrical experts. So I replaced my bulbs in the headlights, go to use my turn signals and there magically hazards. When I turn my head lights on they are always on. Also when I push the hazard button my entire accesory Light system flashes. Dash lights, turns, everything.... Seriously, Wtf. Car has also been feeling super laggy lately. Feels slugish and it backfires a lot between 1500 and 2000 RPM's. Got any ideas?

Installed KDWs, pics are In the stance thread.

Sweetness, like I said you will be on the best set of coilovers for the pro. I've still got the FA spanner wrenches and I'll send them to you just pay shipping.. Wouldn't hurt to have and extra set, there real solid unlike my old ksport spanners that I managed to twist up bad..lol

Sounds good man. I'll pm you real soon....

Opinions on the spoiler?

Anyone?

Its different and I like it but its always tough to tell how it will look on another car, maybe make a mock-up out of cardboard or something to get an idea before you spend the money on a legit one...

I talked to the owner of that car at the last drift event, He made it. 3/8ths aluminum sheet, splitter rods and a whole bunch of rivets. If I made one it would be smaller, and at more of an angle.

i agree with the nascar thing, but it looks kinda half ass to me, but that dude can rock it like that cuz hes a drifter lol try it out man, if u can rock it do it

i think you have the car for it. and if you do it so its not as half assed as that one itd be sick

Thats the point though. Raw and bare minimum, Its a style Im very fond off. Look at that, its 3 parts all that can be found at a hardware store. If you notice I dont really have that many mods, just important and worthy IMO. I like that simplicity. Its prof you dont need huge power and a stuffed wallet to get a car noticed. I plan to do more of these kind of mods, some call it ugly but Its what Im about and It just works..... for me.

Since school is out I have alot more time to work on my car, today I repainted the wheels gloss white and painted the diffuser gloss black. Also completely took out the AC and put on a delete belt from a FS MX-6.

im jealous of your car. i mean i love mine but i really wish i did mine like yours. i love where youre heading too. car is awesome adam. gotta wait til my next one

I REALLY like to see the GT wing installed with the rear diffuser!!!!!!!
If I had a sedan protege, thats how the rear end will look!

Thanks bro, Its gonna happen just not anytime soon. At least a couple years down the road...

Couple new items

Splitter rods attached to the back of the duffuser to add support. It was a little shakey at 50mph+.

Antenna deleted with aluminum plate.

Got the metal for the wing idea, well see how it works out.

Coils shipped yesterday. Should be getting them early next week.
