That works too Ryan, but 2 diodes are easier to install. (rei)

easier for a narmal man, but I am so much more...

really, its just as easy either way. I personally like having IGN power totally seperated from start power

by the way. are you going to come out to hang tonight when I come to Dallas? and if so, what car will you bring? you know I've never gottena ride (or driven ;)) the NSX!

Can either of the status outputs, or aux wires be set as an input?

I'm not sure, but on the CN3 plug there is a e-brake sensing (-) that I used with the neutral safety trigger on the tranny.

its been so long since I installed mine, but its also in auto-tranny mode
.

I do not have to set my e-brake for mine to start, only be in neutral.

i'm working on installing a clifford rsx 3.5 and i just ran into a problem maybe someone can help me with. I tapped the pink/green neutral safety wire and when i test it with the voltmeter, it always shows 12 volts, whether it is in gear of not. The voltage fluctuates .1 volts but it doesn't ground out, anyone have suggestions? thanks

You must've got the wrong wire, are you sure you're in the right place? it'sone of 2 wires that's anchored directly on top of the transmission. Below the larger clump of wires.

i'm 100% i have the correct wire. it will drop up to 2 volts when put in neutral, but not ever go to 0.. (shrug)

The correct wire should be showing ground when in neutral, +voltage may be somewhat present, but that is not of concern.

ok everythings working well and has all been put back together, but I just noticed the other day that when I remote start the car, it doesn't turn the vent fan on until I turn the key to ON. What/where do I need to give power to turn on the fan without the key? It's nice being able to have heat when I get in my car, but I'd like the car to already be warm..

ok so i want to put an ignition kill switch in for security...would just putting it on the 12v be good enough so that if you tried to crank it, it wouldnt crank?

also with an engine start button...what wires would that connect to? ignition, ignition 2, starter, all 3, just starter?

sorry if these are no brainer questions

for you to test the pink/green neutral trigger wire, the cars ignition
has to be ON. You wont get a reading until the ignition is turned ON.
Once you put the car IGN ON, it should read 12V when its on gear and
0V when its in neutral.

Does anyone know if the remote start Diamgram that someone made for the DEI alarms will work with another alarm? Specifically CrimeStopper?

I have 02 protege with a factory alarm, will I need a bypass module? also, I want to integrate the remote starter remote with my alarm remote, but our cars dont have the factory arm/disarm wires, how does the "disarm defeat" wire work? what does it do?

I have a 03 mazdaspeed protege and i just got my greddy turbo timer in. Could anyone tell me step by step instrustions on how to install it and any pics would help thank you. i would read the instructions that came with it but i dont speak japanese

does the mazda Immobilizer in the 09 6 cause any extra concerns for installing an a remote start?

Prestige alarm has a yellow start wire, would that go to the clutch pedal?
