Protege 5 NON-Performance Mods...

I've got a list of things I want to do with my Protege 5 to make it look good, before I start with performance mods. I've made a bit of a list - please give me your opinion on which company you like best for each item, and where I can see pictures and buy these items. Let's begin:

Lowering Kits (springs, coilovers, whatever) - I will be going with 18" Axis Se7en wheels (I hope) if that helps.

Body Kits

Interior Trim Kits (I found one on nopionline.com made by Florida Trim that looked pretty nice - I want a solid red kit, no carbon fiber or wood please)

Spoilers?

Altezza/Euro Taillights?

I suppose that's about it for now. Feel free to add any trick parts to enhance the looks as well. But I will say this: I don't really like the look of carbon fiber, so I will not be adding any carbon fiber hoods or accessories.

welcome to our board, in the future, please search for things like this. anyhow, the h&r springs look good on a p5. mintblue and autoexe make body kits.

as far as spoilers.....STAY WAY!! the p-5 has one...it looks great, leave it alone... :{D

as far a the tail lights you mentioned....for starters the red lenses look FAR better on our cars....not to mention...at this time no one makes the Altenzza's for the P-5.

there are lots of places you can get the springs.....just remember what I told you about the springs/wheel/tire combo.....

techinically speaking springs and wheels are performance mods...but also add to the visual appeal...as for exterior looking mods there really isn't too much out there...the only thing i would really change is the autoexe rear wing...also... we sort of have altezzas already...but anyways welcome to the board and good luck on your project...

yeah i know...i gotta call richie hehe. And I do like the way that the red lenses look on the red car, but I had APC altezzas on my red ford ranger and it looked awesome (IMO).

Eibach also makes their Pro Kit lowering springs for the P5 - about a 1.4" drop in back and slightly more in the front. I love mine!

how about new seats? get some that match your p5 will be very nice. Also, i would stay away from altezza lights, 'cause p5s have "inverted" altezza lights already.

I've been searching for the Altezza lights, 'cause I have a red P5 and I think it'd look great.

But until then, try making your rear bulbs red, instead of amber colour. I found little red gel caps that slide of the bulb and let me tell you, red turn signals coming through the clear plastic lenses in the back really make a difference!!

I also changed the the front turn signals to super white. I'm hoping to get the clear side markers also. Getting rid of the amber lights (if it's legal for you) is a good way to start!!

The Lights on the back of the P5 are more or less Altezza "Style" already.. I cannot think ot many changes (besides color) that will make them more "Altezzaish"...
