Protege-5 Headlights on a MSP

Hey everyone, im a new MSP owner and i was skimming through some pics of MSP's and would like to find black housing clear headlight assemblies without the big amber corner. I noticed also a picture of an MSP with Protege-5 headlights like i would want. Does anyone know if the Protege-5 headlights fit on an MSP without modification to the car body itself? Thank you all in advance!

They are a direct fit, however you need the headlight wiring harness...I have a few for sale if needed...

It looks as tho not only is the amber corner gone, but it doesnt look like there is even a turn signal inside the P5 headlight, which i know doesn't make sense. But surely I am just seeing it wrong, correct?

^^^well you 02.5 and up owners do. They were not available on the 02 model year. As for turn signals in the P5 headlights, they are there. Look closely at the small round circle where the light meets the upper grille.

yup, turn signal is in the same spot, its just a little smaller.

as for the corner lights, if you perform a little modifying, you can install the corner light into the high beam reflector - same as in the euro lights. i did that mod when i had protege5 lights on my sedan. turned out pretty slick. you can see the LED in the upper left corner of the high beam reflector:

Thank you all for replying so quickly, great help. I've always wanted to do custom moddin' on the headlights on various vehicles i have owned however i was always afraid i wouldnt ever get them sealed back correctly. Then i could look cool with my condensation covered assemblies! lol

Another quick question... on the P5 assemblies, is there enough room between the black housing and the clear front lense to put a strip of led's along the bottom front. Kinda like an R8 style led strip?
