Proper Air Filter for the 2003 Protege5

I went into Wal-mart today and looked up the proper Air Filter for my 2003 Protege5 and the listing only went up to the 2002 model year . Does my 2003 take the same Air Filter as the 2002 ? The Air Filter that I bought is a Fram " Extra Life " CA5595 .

i would just go to an automotive store, like, autozone/pepboys, and tell them you need an air filter. they will ask u make/model/year and tell u what brands / model are made just for the p5. they should start from cheapest to most expensive. thats the easiest way.

It'll work. The engine, I believe, is the same as the 2002 and 2003 but, I would recommend getting a air filter from the dealer. They are much better quality. Many people will back me up that Frams blows but, hey, your car.
