Proof My Car exsists, and my plan...

I've been doing pretty good on my tiny T-25... 107mph gotta be over 250whp and thats 14psi.

yea but you pushed the s*** out of it, blew it too. The car can make the power, but you had some tricks up your sleeve.

tru, and with no ems and no timming pull hes aiming to do the same... hes forged but you can still shatter a pistion. All im warning him is that daily driving a car its gonna take some work to get a reliable 250whp

agreed. 250whp on the t-25 for daily use is unreasonable. For occasional use I don't see a problem.

Ohh it wont be running 250whp daily... Far from it. Hell I'll run the damn thing NA and only boost it at the track. I will be running a standalone come spring and wont be pushing more than 10psi with the DSM afc. As long as the t-25 is capable of that output, and I dont run more than 10psi without a standalone i think it should be fine.

If you are planning on putting in some other form of engine managment in the spring, save yourself the green now and just get MPI, Haltech, AEM, whatever you want in the spring. With your mods, stock plugs, and 8.5:1 CR you should be just fine on the factory ECU until the spring when you get your full engine management solution, whatever that may be.

Just make sure you have a wideband, but the mods you listed I would think you would be fine at 10psi or so on the fatory turbo.

Just wondering about this as i was trying to fall asleep last night. Would it be good if we did just a mild port job on the head and intake manifold. The ports are small, and I know its all about velocity, but if we just did a nice conservative port job would that be something to consider? Nothing Major! What do ya think?

right you are... sorry my last car was all motor and the head work we did focused entirely around port velocity.

Am i shooting myself in the foot by porting?

I said that and it's not entirely true...Turbo makes up alot for port velocity.

I'm porting mine, better airflow is better airflow.

I wish you the best with whatever you do to your Speed Daedalus!! I was really hoping Mazda would help you out on this one, but whatever. Keep us informed of how things are going!

I say save the money you'd spend on a port job and get your tuning done asap.

I can't wait to see the results though. I'm sure you're dying to get the car running since you JUST got her.
