You can still catch the end of beach season here in europe. Some suggestions would be South Italy, South Portugal, Greece, one of the Spanish islands(i went to Mallorca and loved it).

Tote your little hibachi grill and some charcoal along with! That looks like a great place.

I know! They're trying to cut down on cars/trucks being over - help preserve the island and keep it clean. My Dad and stepmom Nance live in Port Charlotte and Sanibel and the other islands are places they like to go visit...you should have heard my Dad fussing over that six bucks!

Yeah, the Keys are too touristy...Sanibel is the perfect combination of beautiful beach (with lots of shells to find), nice little restaurants, relaxing atmosphere, amazing ocean.
