Problems with transmission

Hello to everyone, Im new in here, I bought my MP3 about 5 moths ago and I love it. Is soo cool. I have a problem with my transmission. When I change from 2 to 3 gear some times the 3 gear pups out not all the way to neutral just to the middle.
Any one knows what I have to do to fix this.

Same thing happen to me and one other guy that i kno of. I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd and when i shifted to 3rd the gear didnt grib or grind....so now my car is stuck in 3rd..and when i place it in neutral it stalls like its still in gear. when i try to drive it in 1st 2nd and reverse my car goes nowhere but it will work in 3rd 4th and 5th. The guy that said he had the same problem stated that he had to replace a few gears or u might be able to buy a tranny rebuild im doing 1 of the 2...i might even just buy a new tranny.

Holy sh..t the problem u have sound a lot worst that mine. I heard that replace the all transmission is very expensive.

dam dude, sorry to hear. b glad it doesnt grind in from 2nd to 3rd at high rpms..... its so gay. i have to baby mine into 3rd. u guys still running stock tranny fluid? how many miles r on the car? hey shawmp3, u wouldnt happen to come by richmond anytime do u? do u have a cf hood?

My tranny screwed up at 80295 miles... i live in northern Va about 30min. from D.C. in Woodbridge. My car is sitting in front of my house atm...i still have to get the money together to fix the problem...replace the gears...or just plain get a new tranny...im not sure wat i want to do..my friend is going to school at ATI in Va beach and all i have to do is buy a tranny rebuild and he can do it at his school....but i might just go with making an investment in a new and better tranny im not sure with what i wat to go with at this point. My car was running great and then that BS happened... it sucks really bad not being able to drive that car...its so awesome just cruising and riding past all the bitches in a bright yellow whip....!

haha, just get a new tranny if possible... im not sure anymore, might want to double check, but i think the 03 trannys were stronger... i remember reading about that. but theres people saying that their the exact same tranny.... idk what to believe anymore. but i think getin a new tranny would be cheaper/easier to do. i mean replacing gears is about the same as getin a different tranny....

thnx for the advice. i will take that into consideration when i make my decision but one thing is for sure it really really sucks ass!
