Problem w/ my 2 (need advice)

This is a minor problem, but an annoying once nonetheless. There is a pit in the back of my steering wheel (it's like if someone took a scalpel and removed a tiny chunk from the plastic) and when I'm driving, turning the wheel and whatnot, I can feel it. Again, just very annoying and doesn't affect reliability or anything, but it's there. Would this be covered under warranty? How hard is it to swap out a steering wheel? And I'm hesitant to take it to service because I don't want them scratching up any dash panels. Thanks!

I would see if it is covered under warranty. If not it is actually pretty easy to remove the Mazda 2 steering wheel and I have a touring steering wheel from our B-Spec car around somewhere....

If they scratch up any panels, have them fix those too. (sssh)
