hey yall, well i got my car back today with my gauges fixed, a few touch up paint on a couple of scratch areas, and an oil change. The car is brand new again.

Well, as soon as i got it back, i swapped out the intake filter box and placed the k&n filter cone there. I stuck back in the O2 sensor, but the check engine light still turns on. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks alot

I would try resetting the ECU. Most of the instructions that I have read always say to either pull the fuse (I looked and am not sure which one), or pull the negative battery terminal for as long as a half hour. The problem w/ pulling the terminal is you will lose your radio settings... After this, restart the car- DO NOT touch the gas. Let it idle for about 10 mins, then turn the car off. Wait a minute, restart- then take it for a test drive. This is one option. Others say this:
The ECU is always tracking the engine's sensors and actuators. Resetting the ECU does not cause the ECU to learn engine changes any faster. The ECU is always tracking the gradual changes in the engine sensors and actuators. The ECU never gets satisfied with a setting, and is always updating the trim values. It will discover whatever change you made to your engine and make the appropriate changes. In fact, unplugging the ECU will most likely increase the learning curve of the new part. (from tmo.com)
Hope this helps!
