ok i am selling my True Red Speed 3! i just found out that ill be doing a 3 years tour to Japan after a year tour in korea, so ill be gone for 4 years (hand) i have 3 months to sell it, it only got 1030K mileage on it and it's an 08 GT bought it straight from the dealer 3 months ago! it's in prefect condition, no scratches or anything. it has a Carbon Fiber spoiler lip and Carbon Fiber Pilar on the door and a Injen CAI but i am gona take them out and sell it separately unless the buyer want them on with a decent price. so i'm just wondering how much should i sell it from? i bought it for 26k total. what should i be expecting? thx in advance

You sure as hell are not going to get what your loan value is I can tell you that. You may have just thrown an awful lot of $$ out the window to drive it for 3 months. You can not store it some where that will take care of it and maintenance it for 4 years?

My guess would be 19-20K if you find someone who really wants one. Definately take off that carbon fiber stuff and mods and sell them seperately.

Come on give the guy a break. With only a grand in miles I'm guessing you be able to get around $20,000-$21,000. You've got to remember that brand new ones go for around $23,000 so you're most likely going to have to sell a grand or two below that price point even with so few miles.

Just a suggestion or take it to Carmax they wil give you a cheque on the spot. Don't forget to remember your taking a big loss so you will have to come up with cash to pay the difference to the bank, if you owe money on hte car.

In all seriousness, there are used ones on dealer lots with similar miles going for less and sometimes more. You may be better served to try and sell it back to the dealership. Oh, or find a performance shop in the area that will sell it for you on consignment.

Have the Military ship the car so you can have it there. If you are stationed overseas in a non-war area, they should allow you to bring the car. Specially to Japan.

Were you part of the military before you bought the car? If not then you might be covered under the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act.
