Price Range

I may be looking to sell my '02 Mp3, whats the going rate for used ones? Its blue with less than 10,000 miles, no major body problems and runs impeccable with no problems-

ResponseS would be greatly appreciated.

I know nothing about selling...but I'd say around 13 - 14 US sounds like a pretty fair price to me.

Up in Canada, my dealer sold a used MP3 for more than a new one. The sales manager told me they sold it for $1000 more than new. And it sold in less than 2 days. I guess that's what happens when there are only 250 of em in the country.

Hate to tell ya but I think Blue's about right. You should probably ask for more, but be willing to negotiate from there. I'd start around 15.5 or 16 and play from there. It's a rough market now with all of the new turbo this and supercharged that soon to be coming out. These are beauties though, and you might get someone who know its value and is willing to pay the price you ask. Best of luck, and I hope you do well!

If I were you, I'd sell it for $500 less than what you paid. And don't just put it somewhere in your area with a for sale sign on it. Put it on all the car buying sites(ebay, yahoo, etc) You will definetely sell it.

i hear ALL THE TIME of people looking for mp3's, they may be unaware of the up=coming mazdaspeed pro, but they love the mp3 nonetheless! good luck if you do sell it!(i'd keep it!)

I like the mp3 just because its a great platform. I know about the turbo mazdaspeed pro coming out but the mp3 would be a little less on my insurance than the turbo since I'm 21 and have 3 tickets in the past year. I found a mp3 last night with 10000 miles on it for 15000 and I thought that was a pretty fair price. I'm considering trying to get the financing for it and get rid of my 2000 LX. Man if I were you.. I wouldnt sell it.. The first car to offer a factory mp3 player and it looks hella good. Friends dont let friends sell their mp3's.

Very true, it is a good platform, and i might regret getting rid of it, however, i want to at this point so.... Thanks for the input-
