Price Question

i was asking enry about that, but he said dont use it as a monitor...but dana uses his tv , so i dunno.

If you want high quality tv-out, go with a ATI Radeon card. I have the ATI Radeon 8500 128mb. It cost me about $150 about 3 mths ago. Last time I checked, the price went up about $10 bucks. All of ATIs cards use the same components for the TV-OUT. If you want a really nice card, get an AIW (All In Wonder).

Just remember the picture will be garbage compared to the computer. Its not easy to cram 1024 lines of resolution to 240 intarlaced. Even 3000 scan converters can't display text with out it being fuzzy. THere are a few companies making large monitors, just for some info, My company uses monivision they can be 38" and display 1024 native resolution, It might actualy be 800 or scaled but I think its capable of 1024 now.

Video information off of like a pc dvd player is a different story though since it is ment to be on a TV
