Potluck to Welcome New Members 9/19/04

Hey Folks,

We're gonna have a Potluck, to welcome aboard new members, this coming Sunday the 19th of September @ 11:00. The Potluck will be at the Oahu Central Park in Waipio. Exact location in the park is always hard to predict until we actually get there because of softball and soccer games that take up a lot of the parking areas. I'll be out there early to find a good location so you can give me a call when you head out (PM me if you don't have my cell) or just drive around a look for a bunch of Mazdas all parked together.

Like I said, this is going to be a potluck so just go ahead and bring something for everyone to munch on. Please post what you'll be bringing so we don't have too much of one thing. I'll be bringing out my grill to cook some hot dogs for everyone, so if you want to bring something to throw on the grill feel free. But, this isn't really a BBQ so feel free to bring, Pizza, Chicken, etc.

Anyhow, the real idea of this Potluck is to meet new potential members. So, please don't be shy. If you've got a Mazda you like to mod. and would like to meet a bunch of other Mazda enthusiasts and maybe even join M-SPEC, come on out. For those of you who are already members, please invite any Mazda owners you know that might want to join us.

Well, I hope to see you at the Park next Sunday. It should be a good time to just relax, catch up, and hopefully meet some future members. If you have any questions post them on here or PM me.

OOOh, another meet. awesome. I think me and my friend Mike (Purple 3 Hatch) would be down to come. He's always asking me about meets and such, so i keep him informed. And my friend Kaneala finally got his rims, so he said he'd come out to a meet or so. Well, i'll look at the list later on, and figure out something to bring if i come down.

yo yellow, dont bring too much food. we usually buy a lot and have left over. one zip meal noodles should be enough

or u can just buy everyone lunch either way is good.

btw...lol can anyone tell me how to get to the park? h1 or h2? and what exit..LOL ... i jus kno how to get to waikele shopping center... never went out of town really...

where u live? maybe we can meet up before? i live in nuuanu.

u take h-1 west and right before the mililani cut off, take the waikele? cut off.
get in your right lane and the road will curve right. ull pass about 4-5 stop lights and the park will be on your left. u can either enter by jack in the box (main enterance) or the back way, which, to get there, u just stay on the road until u hit the next light and turn left.

you actually take the waipahu cutoff, its before the h1-h2 merge and its also the first cutoff after the sears distribution center. then you jump all the way to the right and and take the next cutoff before you reach waipahu high school (this brings you on kam hwy if i'm not mistaken) then go straight and the park will be on your left -mike

Wassup everyone. This is Jeff w/ the white Mazda3 hatch. I came on the last cruise in July but as for this coming event, I probably won't make it because I have drill on that day and my lunch break is only an hour from 1130-1230. But maybe next time. All right then. Peace.
