Pot overdose

ah yes, i would have requested some from you, but i quit smoking, except for every now and then :)
Good for you. Smoking is a horrible, horrible habit, and very deadly. My mentor, who got me into this business, passed on not too long ago from lung cancer. I tell people all the time to quit.

I don't smoke either.(smoke)

Do a lot of people that work there smoke? I can only imagine what a smoke break at a cigarette factor would look like. HAH

I've never been to he factory so I don't know.

I work remotely out of Knoxville, the company is based in SC. I'm the Regional Manager here. The cigarettes just get shipped to my warehouse, and I disburse them from there. Work out of my home office.

Back to the point. I've smoked since I was about 13, and after being around it so much, and watching my friend die, I decided to quit cold turkey. After I was around cigs so much, and saw the man who got me a career die from them, it got to me.

That's freakin hilarious!

We made brownies and I think were dead, I really do.
(rlaugh)

however the fact that niether of them are being charged is... well... what's the opposite of funny? That's messed up, just cuz he's a cop? Give me a break.

The hilarity of the story really makes this, the key issue in this story, appear negligible when in reality the fact that he and his wife got off is what we all should be freaking out about.

Definatly pass out before that happens. Besides. It's a gas, I think the worst you could do is suffocate with to much of it or cough to death..

They could tax it, and make a lot of money.

As some of you know I work for a cigarette manufacturer, and just to give an idea of how much the Govt' could make off weed I'll give you an example.

My company manufactures sub generic cigarettes, the cheaper brands. Specifically one brand. With my brand of sub-generic cigarettes alone the state of TN made 8.7 million dollars. No overhead or anything really.

That is just state taxes.

In federal taxes last year, our market brought in 12.3 billion dollars straight into the Federal Govt.

Do the same with weed, and we could get around the same levels. If not more.

Yeah, we could use the $$ to buy body armor for the troops.
Better than starting a draft....legalize it!

Well the cigarette manufacturers are basically supporting our country right now.

That's why you'll neve see a smoking ban. As much as it has been talked about it will never happen, we are one of the main sources of income for our Govt.

that made no sense....you dont keep taking in gas, you expell it...the only thing you could "overdose" on is the drug that is in marijuna(THC)...not the ******* smoke...

If you were trapped in a contained area filled with enough of molecules in smoke and you could'nt get enough oxygen molecules. I'll assume there is alot of C02 in pot smoke, though I'm sure it's on google the exact molecular count of the gas. It's not an overdose, rather not enough oxygen. I never even said it was an overdose, I just said the worst you could do is suffocate.

wow.....

BTW your sig is too large

I seriously don't think it is possible to OD on weed alone. Maybe if it was laced with something else, but not by itself. I think you would fall asleep WAY before you could OD.
I hate it when cops are caught doing crap like this. It's pretty funny how blitzed he and his wife were though. I had to laugh.

also...this could happen if you were in an unventilated room and you said there and breathed... CO2 is made by your body...

What happens is you take an air sample. Once you start igniting the pot you are releasing those molecules in the form of gas. You're also altering the molecules of the pot because you're applying heat to it to break the molecular bonds. Once that gas is in the air it is going to bump around with the other molecules in the air. Gas molecules are spread out and not bonded together very well so there is room for the new molecules to fit in and bump around. However, depending on how much smoke you make and how much volume of air you're trying to fill you can reach a point where a human can not exist off that gas mixture, either from too many CO2 molecules and not enough Nitrogen and Oxygen. Eitherway, you dead.
