Do the math.... By my calculations, going from a 7" to an 8" rim and going from stock +55mm to a -5mm offset would push the outer edge of the wheel out 2 & 7/8 inches. Thats just about how far beyond stock width he appears to be. Do I like the look? No. But is his statement believable? Absolutely.

yea i think people are calling BS cuz his wheels dont look like they are -5 offset...which they arent lol
i think he's got some pretty big spacers on there

This. He has an effective -5 offset because he uses 25mm spacers with a +20 offset wheel, IIRC. I think it would look better without the spacers, IMO. But to each his own.

why are we arguing about all of this in the picture thread? take it to the slammed thread.

shelbygoat: love the fairy winkle blue speed3!

slammed thread =/= wheel fitment, noob.

Wheels ALWAYS look better without spacers, if said rim were -5 alone the lip would be so much bigger.

I couldn't agree more, if I could re-do it it would definitely be a 16x8 +0 or go wider. I used 25mm bolt on spacers from my old set up.... Anyways, my favorite pic.
