I had a 94 Protege that I was trying to turn into an AWD but I was younger, more naive and thought it wouldn't cost that much. As cool as that would've been, I'm glad I didn't because the engine in that car bit the dust about 6 months after I bought it (I only paid 100 bucks and it had a kartboy shortshifter, corksport bushings, and a PRM intake). It was my brother's. I got it running enough that Mall of GA Toyota gave me 1K for it as a trade in on a 03 Tacoma!

you can call me naive, but Ive also done everything else to this car thats really possible just short of nitrous....and did the work myself....I'm not really afraid to tear it apart at a moments notice, and since its turned officially into a project car rather than a daily driver Im not too worried about that either

idk if I will be able to complete it, but its definately not impossible.....so I'd really like to attempt it and see how it turns out
