i think its funny that you cars all talk about "tri-podding" like its super rare for a car to do it... it all depends on the ramp incline. the other day, i saw a BONE STOCK Versa tri-pod at the entrance to the parking lot here at work.

at an autox on flat pavement FWD cars do it all the time. It's really not that crazy...

mazdaspeed2oo3:
were the 323 gtx awds availible for sale in spain? or did you have to import them?

Well that's a GT-R not GT-X.. My friend told me these 323's AWD are very rare.. there are only 15 in Spain, and His the only one in Malaga Spain with it. is a very rare car. you don't see them in the streets or Junk Yards.

Man! That 323 makes me want to buy this 323 that is for sale locally. I had an 87 323 wagon for a many years.

bah, nevermind then

I'm trying to look into a possible awd setup, and that car is top of my list...gotta find someone who lives somewhere were it is more common lol

Well i can always talk to the people i know... i can get stuff from anywhere in europe, what is it that you need?

the rear end, transfer case, and driveshaft lol

Let me talk to my friend the owner of the 323, and to my friends that have their own shops if they can find me the complete AWD system for this car, and for how much... I mean if i can get a hold of these parts at a good price i can try doing a AWD conversion. my friends fab lots of s*** and they do all kind of swaps in here in spain.. i'm going to ask them how hard and expensive this might be to do... but honestly i don't know if i'll want my car to be AWD. i don't race from a stop, and i really like how the car feels when i race rolling.. but anyways AWD is a good thing to have no doubt..

that would be awesome bro

if I could get the ballpark cost then I can start figuring out if I want to invest money into researching it more

mind doing me a favor and taking a pic of the underside of your friend's gt-r? I'm wondering if the transfer case will bolt onto the g series transmission or if you have to replace the transmission...

I found these pictures in another thread, hope this is what you want to see... that's a GT-R or GT-X Transmission
