(gtfo) short wheels / tires = better gearing. Some people actually go for performance...
LOL, to each his own I guess....
I think mine has better performance with the 5 lug 15lb wheels than the 4 lug 22lb wheels I had before.

AMaff is correct. Bolt pattern has nothing to do with performance....(gossip)
I'm running the semi-hollow spoke 14" miata wheels strictly for performance only. They weigh nothing at all!
There isn't much of an argument now that it's agreed smaller, light-weight wheels = better performance (acceleration).
There's less rotating mass on the drivetrain...
I do admit that the wheels look a little bit small but I want the car to look stock [see stolen wheels thread] and outperform any minivan.
Besides that, my tires are cheaper! (thumb)

I wish I could run 14s on the race car, but there aren't any tires wide enough for ST* that would be competitive. Now, when i move to CSP? Let's just say I hope Hoosier comes out with the 255/40/13

Should have left it at my first post LOL.What I should have said in the first post was that I remember seeing your car with the MSM wheels a few years ago. I loved the MSM wheels on your car, I wanted some so bad when I had 4 lug.

havent been on the boards as of late. got two new toys...i had to sell my beloved 06 gixxer 750 a while back when i bought the house. so i just got an 02 honda cbr600 f4i to replace that. gotta have a bike for the warm weather. and i still got the p5 but its been in the shadow of the new to me 06 g35 6speed. been steadily adding mods to both. will do a full build thread of all three with all the new mods when they are complete. heres a quick shot of all three
