Post recent pictures of your Mazda!

thats super scary. I always hated running my cf stuff in winter

my CF does not run in the winter, it sits under a car cover in the snowbank. Its only cold during the evenings anyways and this was a first freak frost.

plus first pic is on the beaters hood not my CF, my car beads the water to easily.

Should I be worried about my CF hood going through drastic temp changes this winter? Driving it after sitting through the cold all night? Will the engine heat change the hood's temp fast enough to cause damage?

your hood will be fine as the drastic temp change i see daily is more than you should see. I'm below freezing in the Am while driving to work and in the 60s when i drive home after work. Lots of winter driven cars around here have CF parts and have no issues.

CF hood on my Civic has withstood 7 winters so far. Only problem is that the gel coating took a s***. If you keep up with cleaning / waxing it, you shouldn't have a problem. I'd be more afraid of extreme sunlight.

Taken this past weekend at CupCake Meet 15 before I ditched my car the whole day to run the event. The dip is still holding up strong! I also did the roof black, but you can't see it in the picture.

Nice work guys on the food, did you guys use the spray can or a gun? Looks really smooth and even compared or others I've seen. How many cans and coats did it take?

I thought you meant it was like an abandoned property and the car was left on it for a second... then i scrolled down hahaha
ya lol i should've worded it differently.... but just think, that would be one helluva find at an abandoned house with a clean msp...
