Thanks for your kind words as well and those are my parking lights/turn signals (have the fogs wired to come on with them), I've been running the Silverstar turn signal bulbs in them for about 3yrs or so now. Here's a similiar shot using my p&s the day I wired the fogs to come on with the parking lights. In this one you can see more of the amber in the bulbs instead of them being washed out.

Well i guess they are rare in the US too. I recall jon the surroundsman saying he used to get asked "who the hell soups a protege?" alot in VA.

I did not know you could wire the fogs to start with the park and turn lights. To my knowledge the fog harness was completely seperate, but looks like i was wrong and have to delve deeper into this during my free time. Looks nice nonetheless, though i wish our fog lights could be a bit brighter, on par with the mazda 3s.

Admittedly i am surprised the silverstar turns lasted for 3 years, i was previously on them and they ended service approximately half that duration. Since then they have been replaced with a korean brand but i dont expect much from that either:/

My fogs aren't as bright as I have Expel smoked overlays on them in both pics so that dims the output some.

I've been surprised too but have a spare set sitting in the garage just waiting to be used. lol Damn car ate two pairs of silverstar lo-beams and one pair of euro-spec silverstars as well before I finally bought an HID kit.

i did some googling to try and find which they were and the rays were the first that looked almost the same. ha ha.

$60 for the set... I can;t really complain. Maybe Ray's one day.......

No DDM kit here...I had a Techone kit but a bulb blew last year and a buddy had some spare bulbs he sent me but they were different colors. So I just bought a V-HIDs kit from V-LEDs.com in 5K. Had a ballast go bad within the first week but communication with their tech guy was awesome and a new kit was in my hands in two weeks.

The Expel is much better than Rockblocer...I had those initially and within a year had burn marks in them. Should you be interested in them, send a pm to Jackelope, that is who I bought mine from.

I despise changing lo-beams althought I've done it enough now that I'm a pro. lol

Ouch... didnt know the techones blew so quick. Im going to have a peek into the V-LEDs website for a tad. could be worth getting.
Will discuss the overlays with jackelope in a few, they look great for that semi-sleeper look.

lol the P5 / dual beam lamps are horrible to change lo's anyway, it just seemed so seamless on the H4 but takes half an hour on ours.

In their defense I ran them for at least two years...maybe closer to three. Bought them on a GB here from Protephile but sadly he was having issues with their customer service so he dropped their products which made my lifetime warranty null and void. At the time I bought them V-LEDs was having a 4hr 25% off sale. Retail is $59.99 + shipping so not a bad deal at all but only a one year warranty.

Yeah, whoever desinged the H7 bulb and spring clips is an a$$ and if they haven't been subjected to a firing squad yet, now is as good as time as any. lol

$25 for a regular set. I recommend the showy ones. I grinned when I got 'em on the car.

i have a techone kit from protephile too.

just before selling the p5, i found a bulb out. i had the kit on for over 2 years. i tested them when taking them off, and found it was a bad ballast.

so... no lifetime warranty anymore huh. havent contacted protephile yet. heck, maybe if there isnt, i can sell my good ballast and bulbs to someone.
