you own the ferrarri too?

Here is my stock beast. She gets tint this weekend. Still working on getting the stubborn pinstripe off of this thing. Prior owner curbed the crap out of one of the wheels so I want to powdercoat them one of these days (not sure what color just yet). Rear lights need to go...I may have a local guy tint them red to look like the european lights. I may lower it and do the cubby hole 8" sub in the back. Most of my money is sunk into mountain biking so it will be slow going with the 5.

2008 Mazda5 in Maui Hawaii

Aloha Peeps! I traded in a 2007 Lexus IS350 because we were expecting our forth child in 2008. I settled for this because it was the only 4 cylinder mini van out there, and with the price of Gasoline in HAWAII...especially in Maui. I knew it was a great investment. Who would've known my wife and I would really get into fixing up our Mazda5. I'll try and post pic's of the interior next time!

But i have something else that's coming lol... i can't wait to put in my track set-up. (wheels + rims)... this will look terrible i guess :D.

Aloha! I'm new here too. I congrats on your new 5, I love how it looks. I was looking for one also and took my wife to test drive one last week but she didn't like it at all. She doesn't like mini vans in general but I thought this one would be acceptable. I was wrong! I've decided to go back with my previous choice of a 3 Sport hatchback so I'm currently looking for one of those.
I was on Maui from March 18-30th and stayed in Kanapali (just a few miles North of Whalers Village) at the Royal Lahaina Resort and had a fantastic time, it's a truly beautiful place.
The background of your shots reminds me of the old buildings in Old Lahaina near Front St.

Hey Venom, what kind of springs did you use? I wish my HR Springs dropped it 2 inches.......but you know what, my MRR's are 19x8.5 with 215/35/19 and I have no problem with turning & rubbing. If I'm not mistaken, my offset is 35 mm.

Hey NaturalMystic, I'm really glad you liked visiting here. You should drop me a line when your in town again. As for your wife not loving the 5.....well at least she still likes a Mazda3 (same Brand...hehehe). We have alot of inquirie's (from young & old) about what type of car/van we're driving, but we love it cause it's not your conventional Mini Van & we've noticed that alot of Mini Van owners (noticing that it's a van because of the sliding doors) compliment us about how our 5 looks.....plus (which always is a major plus for me) it's great on gas.

Very Sweet Looking 5...Rims look awesome! I looked at these wheels first and thought the offset was too low to throw on a 5 with out rubbing....Looks Awesome...Me Likes

I'm running TEIN sTech right now and believe me it's awsome lol. It's improve handling and of course the look (bow). On pics it doesn't look that low, but in real it's ******* low. (rockon)

Yours look really good, i will probably buy that wing too in a near future and a front lip from Bayson R.

Love your 5, randrew. Details on the exhaust, please.

Hey KB, you know, I was waiting for someone to notice that. When I first got my 5 in 08 (and when the Super Ferry was still running between Maui & Honolulu) I took me & my family on a trip to Honolulu. It was over there, I met up with my freind, and he suggested about how cool my 5 would be with Duel Exhaust....so he made a Y before the factory muffler, cut off the rear tow eye, and placed two big mufflers.(race looking....so yes, it's just for looks, plus it sounds pretty deep too) It took a whole 2-3 hours for the install, and that's also the reason why I can't put a rear lip, but I also look at it this way.......it's a family car...a COOL family car. HEHEHE. So my hat's off to you KB...thanks for asking

Congrats!!!!...You got stick...I'm jealous...you must live in Canada

Yep, I'd say so. Gyro Mazda (dealer name on license plate cover) is in mid town Toronto. I didn't realize you don't get the manuals in the US.

manual is only on the base sport here, which means no side skirts, spoiler, or option of leather.
