that is awesome, i am looking at doing this very soon. please post the kit you purchased (if you don't mind) and possibly some troubling things you ran into and or instructions!!! looks great!

This particular retrofit only cost me about $35 only because I already had most of the parts. Plus the parts I'm using are more than a year old as well. Depending on the options you choose, my set up now will run you about $300. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=237 The Morimoto Mini D2S is very easy to work with and gives out a pretty decent outpur for it's size. The advantage to this is the use of D2S bulbs so there are alot of quality options. This is what I have but I have the first version. The 2.0 version uses a 3" lense and a slightly revised bowl. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=227 The Morimoto Mini H1 is also very easy to work with and gives better output than it's D2S counterpart but bulb choices are limited to aftermarket rebases only. Both of these projectors are limited to running at 35w because of their size. 50w and higher set ups tend to burn the bowls and the chrome starts to bubble. Once TRS releases the Mini D2S 3.0, I will swap everything out for a full Morimoto set up with TRS harness and Osram CBI bulbs.

Love it! I bought a H1 kit but I have never done a retrofit before, so I've been searching for a spare set of OEM headlights that are under $200/ea... ebay is still pretty high!

Here are some shots I snagged at lunch today. Overcast day. The butter happened to be left on the table after the previous nights dinner haha.

I may have to meet up with you in Htown one day to look at these... I'd love to get the OEM projectors but these seem more cost effective lol. Be nice to have em with the euro clear reflector too.
