I had a 73 Beetle that someone did that to. Then it got resprayed in Mitsubishi Red with Viper Pearl White racing stripes (back in the early 90s before stripes became popular-ugh, I got a cute Mazda 2 in 2011 before they became popular) and the Bug was just as cute.

Now, for my Black 2, I would need a hell of a red wrap to get that Lady-Bug look. Maybe just double up on the aerials and just go for the Black Bug look.
