Lol!! I gave it a good wash after this photo so i think it is ok.The neighbours thought I was completely insane because I was washing the car while it was raining. :O)

Some photos from last Saturday's race at Clark Speedway with my 1300 Mazda 2

(Chevy Spark is the pace car)

Finally got on pole, but the EK was quicker, beat my 1.22.332 with a 1.22.188, settled for 2nd (left side, white shirt with the cute chick)

Thanks, it was really hot that day, 38.5C but it was fun. Sorry, no vids on this one. Yup, the carbon hood took out pounds off the front. Another win for the Mazda2!

sketchcouk, have you tried to use 14" rims with semi slick tyres?I think the 1.3 would be much better with this setup.

^^I did use the 14" before but when they slapped on the rotors, I had to go 16". Also changed from R1-Rs to Federal 595s because they changed tire regulations to higher a higher treadwear (220 UTQG min).

You don't know how lucky you are to have a 2 door, projector headlights and the sad face front bumper my friend. Your 2 looks great!
