I couldn't find the post, but I do remember someone asking if anyone made a carbon fiber gas door. I stumbled upon this website today. Carbon Concepts. If you take a look, they make gas doors for other car makes so..... Let give em a call.

Here's a pretty nice demo (even though it's not the right size)

That'll be pretty sweet, having a CF gas door.
Talking about gas door......Do you guys have rust inside ?? I do when the water gets trapped in there after the rain or a car wash.....

hm.......Just checked out the site..........Seems like they mostly make CF for American cars........And I dont see any prices of those things........Or am I just blind ?

Carbon fiber hoods I can understand as they save some weight to an extent altho personally I think they end up looking dumb....carbon fiber gas caps are nothing more than pure looks really and would clash color-wise...what's wrong with our nice blue/yellow caps?

Yeah the gas door may be excessive, but I was just responding to the post I couldn't find earlier. I'm definately not interested in either. I am planning on getting a hood though, the asthetic value can't be passed up. True not everyone digs CF, but each to his own.

Well I know that they are darn good...what I would likely do if i had the coin is buy one and then just have it painted to match...get the rigidity and lightness of the CF with the blue that I get so many compliments on. :)

Smart thinking! That's thinking outside of the box!

all i did when i carbon fibered my interior .. wsa got a hold of some vinyl (carbor fiber ) and did my door handles and gas tank lid and anyone who has seen it loved it and did not knwo that it was fake untill i told them .. i mena it is cheap .. and it is not a perm. mod ..so if and when we have something to replace it with or if I sell it .. i can remove it with out a problem ..and as long as you do it right and take your time .. the rain and washing it will not ruin it ... i have had it on there for almost a year with no pealing or bubbles
