I will be at most track days, Alfa Club and Lotus Club are who I usually run with, although my last car was 408 whp, with no speed governor. the MSP down the front straight won't quite be the same as the Vega at 167mph!

Hopefully I'll get the coilovers, seats and some new R-compounds before we start this year.

Later this year I'll be running my Cosworth Vega, 260 hp, 1900 lbs. True test and tune, if I don't blow it up at 8800rpm.

You mind if some of us Washington kids come down? I've been trying to get in touch with the staff down there about a possible meet at one of the track days, but I havn't heard back form any of them yet.

Man I love I made your sig... Hell no problem getting some Washington folks down here for the club days .Guys from B.C. show up . go here http://www.portlandraceway.com/carclub.asp and all you need is to contact the local club (scroll down to the bottom) and see the requirements to drive. Some clubs are wanting people to pay in advance so they don't waste a bunch of time doing paperwork on the day of the event. it's cheaper to

There's like 20 clubs there, which one should I contact?
Well as a example I belive the 1st one I am going to will be the Alfa club on March 5th so somewhere around the 1st of feb. I'll be contacting them to fill out all of the nessesary paperwork and pay and such

Oh so we can contact whoever we want? The clubs aren't exclusive to their own types of cars?

I'll probably go with the Lotus club meeting on March 26, just to give us a little more time to plan out a full meet around it. Do you forsee any problem with 10 or more Protege's at the Lotus club track day?

Well a couple of clubs (audi and ? ) want only their type of cars but otherwise most all don't care

Bring it down Miller and we'll see how many P5's and Protege's we can get out there.

Yeah man I'll start pullin it together as soon as I hear back from Rob. Wanna make sure he's back from Iraq before we head down.

My cars slow but I will bring it down...... If those guys over at corksport ever got back to me, so i could get my car done...LOL j/k guys....

But I will try to make it out for sure this year.

My car is slow and loud.
Imagine hearing something coming from a mile away, only it takes a couple minutes to get there. Then you can hear it slowly (loudly) going away.
Well it never goes away when your driving it.
