Yeah ForceFed definately needs a mic. It was just weird talking to somebody you knew was listening but couldn't respond.

I used to call it pop but then started calling it soda. So I voted soda. Oh and if someone asked for a coke but wanted sprite..there getting a damn coke.

I don't use coke it's too hard core, most i'll use is weed :D

in china all soda is coca cola or just cola. (at least, when i was there 7 years ago)

Northern midwest = pop (grew up there)

Southeast = Soda or "coke" meaning any type of caffinated drink

Not sure on the other regions but it sounds like west coast = soda

northeast = soda, southern midwest = soda

(mswerd) I just call it by the brand name.

exactly. If I want a Coke, I ask for a Coke. If I want a 7-up, I ask for a 7-up.

for some reason it has always irritated me when someone calls them pop or Soda. That's something old people call/called it when there wasn't any choices. My grandparents call it pop to this day. Or "soda pop" is another one they use.

It's like going to Blockbuster and asking " Can I have a movie?"

like wtf?

what about soda pop?(dunno) j/k
I normally say the name like Sprite or Pepsi, but if someone is going out to get something to drink and I don't care which kind it is I just say soda.

wtf. freak, get out of here. we don't like yir kind round hurr.
p.s. come by the rep thread. long time no see

Grew up in Southern IL, and we all called it "sparklin' brown."

Everything in TX is called coke! and if you ask the wrong person for soda you might be getting coke, and not the kind you drink!
