I grew up in Idaho calling it Pop. I moved to southern Cali for a couple of years and they call it soda. I had a friend from Oklahoma and he called it Coke. He didn't just call the brand Coca-cola that, he called every pop Coke. How can you call a sprite a Coke? What about a Pepsi? He didn't seem to think it was that weird.

No one says pop in the dirty south. It doesn't matter what brand your are drinking, it's called coke. Just like all copy machines are called xerox, and all tissues are called kleenex. I guess you could call it soda, but most people I know just say coke. POP is teh gayness.

yeah i use coke alot too...half my family is from kentucy and the other half from missouri...and those people all say soda...i use coke more then soda
