as do i. i just remember someone making a comment as if there were no tracks in houston so i was giving out info. just as a possible "things to do" type of thing. last year we did the dyno thing. some of us thought it would be neat to do a quarter-mile thing or something like that this year. heck we'll need something to do besides just standing around for hours bullshitting. maybe a bbq?
yeah, chatting sucks, we do enough of that on here. 
things to do in the hill country:
swim in lake travis or lbj or colorado (don't think i would recommend doing that this time of year)
Coopers BBQ in Llano - have done that trip with other car clubs and friends - that place is delicious
time trials/rally on some of the roads
playing in the corn maze at sweetberry farms
climb enchanted rock
willow city loop
longhorn caverns - they have a large gathering area
terrorizing riced-out dodge in wal-mart parking lot -- oops, that was the last big meet
watching the eagles on 29
driving on some hilly roads where 20mph is scary
one of these years i'm going to find one of those endangered birds in balcones canyonlands
i think i just talked myself into a drive this saturday...
oh, and i would go to a 1/4 mile track, i just don't think i'd race. I'd be happy to cheer for whoever pays me the most though.

The Dallas meet ended in disaster (somewhat) cos the organizer for some reason didnt show up...I felt bad too cos were hosting it and all plans didnt happen.
