i was riding hauling ass and a car pulled out in front of me and i hit the front break by accident and went over the bars, landed on my feet by accident.

everyone was standing there going (rlaugh) so i got up and went (upyours)

hell yeah I have an Ebay one. Its the best thing I ever bought. except for my P5 ! I bought one of the raptor/callagri's. Its only a half fairing model like this one :http://www.msprotege.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=16429

I have the red one. And its fast. it gets ever faster once your past the break in period and you change the Spark plug to one heat range higher and put in the post break in fuel/oil mixture. I had mine clocked at 42.24 MPH by a friend of mine who is a MD state trooper.

I even did some mods to mine already and found a bunch of dealers who sell replacment parts, and Aftermarket Performance parts. For around 100 bucks I can get my bike to go about 60 MPH. now thats fast when your only 12 inches off the ground.

I painted all the tins on it with that metalcast red, and the triple tree's as well and I painted the centers of the wheels gold, to match the calipers on my car, and polished the lip with some wadding. I also built a custom 1 of a kind dual pipe setup for teh exhaust to make it look like a real streetbike.

They are a liitle at first. But the more seat time you get the easier it gets. The One I have has ZERO suspension, except for the air in the tires. So on rough roads its a little hairy. But mine has slicks and Im only a 140 lbs so Its pretty stable.

On flat lots or roads it is Balls Out. its grippy and responsive. Just be sure not to go through any water and then try to turn or stop until the tires and brakes dry out. I learned that the hard way.

There pretty fun once you get over the intimidating size of it.

how tall are you? is there any problem folding yourself up to fit on it? where do you drive them? can you get in trouble if you cruise down the street on one? what about the sidewalk?

I usually drive mine at car shows and around the lot where I attend my car club meting. i dont run it on the street, its not legal here. But i make a trip around my neighberhood every once in a while on the side walk. I live in an apt. complex.

The place I use it the most is work. I work on a military reservation thats pretty big, and thats my transportation to to and from the other buildings, but mostly to the vending m,achines at break time. Its a great little time saver, if you have to walk somewhere.

question

are there major differences in all the various brands? Are the upgrade paths the same, like universal parts? I see the one at pep boys comes with what looks like all season tires (with tread anyway), and some come with slicks online.

Any input?

Thanks!

ive go one. put its a bit bigger then the little tiny pocket rockets. i picked my up for 450. 49 cc, working headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and even horn, love it!

Just a word of advice.. Make sure whatever you buy that you can get
parts for it easily. I own a motorcycle shop and have alot of people coming
in needing repairs and parts for these and alot of the cheaper ones are
almost impossible to get parts for. Just because they tell you parts are
available doesn't mean they're readily available. I've waited 8-11 months
on backorder parts numerous times. If anybody near Greenville SC I can
hook you up with some.

Alright, I ordered mine. I couldn't find exact information as to the upgrade path, so I just went with the nicest looking one i found for cheap, only one with full fairing and slick tires that I liked really.

So whats the deal with gas? I know I should use premium, like a lawnmower, but what oil? Synthetic? How critical is the mixture process? Any tips?

Thanks!

I gotta see yours when you get it. How much did you pay for shipping? I thought I saw they have a store here somewhere in NoVA (not Pepboys).
