Please send a Prayer

For those of you who are inclined to pray once in a while, I need a favor. My Girlfriend's mom died monday morning. There was no prior indication, no warning, nothing. It looks like she had a massive heart attack, or stroke or something. The whole family (my girlfriend, her dad and her brother) was there when it happened, so that had to witness her death. They are taking it very had, she was a wonderful person, and there is a hole in the family a mile wide. Please pray that they will get through this, however long it takes, safe and sound.

Im not a major religious person, I belive more in God than the church, so I dont care what religion you are, your words will help, I know that in my heart.

charles, I hope so to, belive me. Its not her Im worried about at all. Its more her father and brother. She is a strong person. Them, well, not so strong.

I told my girl about this thread and she got one of the few laughs she had all day. "Now I have people from your Mazda Cult (yup thats what she calls up) sending thier best wishes!" You guys brought her a laugh and a little more comfort.

I havent really known what to say for the past few days. Its hard to comfort her when I know that if I were in her situation I would be totally lost on an emotional level.

Another fun day for my girl. The Dr. who worked on her mom said he wouldnt sign the death cert because there was not enough reason to support the type of death. The Dr. Had her mom moved back to the hospital, and the family was told that she would not be able to be back in time for the funeral home to prepair her for the viewing. This crushed the family. They called someone in the county that her mom worked for as an RN and luckily they were able to get a rush medical record review, and everything is back on track. All I can say is that this has been one hell of a rollercoaster. Again, thanks for your support.

sheesh. I keep hearing of nothing but ridiculous activities by medical health professionals. My sister was in the hospital with a head wound that was never properly cared for. Bad stuff.
